20,000lb Capacity Disc Brake Actuator with 2-5/16" Coupler
This actuator operates using the surge from the trailer as it moves toward the tow vehicle, automatically aligning the trailer brakes with the vehicle's brakes. When the trailer pushes against the vehicle, the actuator telescopes, activating the master cylinder to provide hydraulic pressure to the brakes. Featuring a built-in, sealed dampening shock absorber, it effectively manages the telescoping action against the hitch.
It is essential to adhere to brake regulations in your state, as laws may set minimum standards, potentially necessitating additional trailer brakes to comply with Gross Vehicle Weight Ratings (G.V.W.R.). Note that G.V.W.R. is the total weight rating for both the trailer and its load.
